named blooop because "bloop" was taken. also, that's just how the AI works — it kinda… blooops your words into existence.
a little window in your menu bar remembers what you said, which app it landed in, and how long it took. copy it again, or wipe the lot.
Tools like Wispr Flow run your speech through another model to polish it into tidy prose. Which is fine, but think about where your words are going.
There's no cleanup model in blooop, on purpose. They're slow and weak, and slowest right when your ramble is longest. And the ramble is usually where the magic is: "uhh wait, actually make it a dropdown instead" is your reasoning, not noise. Why let an inferior model strip that out when Fable 5 or Sol can do it for you? Just ask.
"okay so the solver work is slipping to next sprint because validation isn't done, uhh, wait, the migration lands first, that's the actual blocker. make this an email to Dana explaining the delay, and add a todo so we don't forget the migration."
→ your assistant writes the email and files the todo. a cleanup model only does the prose half.
blooop types what you said. That's it. That's the feature.
pasting into a doc or a commit message, with no model on the other end? then a ramble stays a ramble. that's the tradeoff, and we'll take it.

open the DMG, drag Blooop into Applications, open it. it's notarized, so macOS just opens it — no scary "unidentified developer" dialogs. we paid Apple the $99 so you don't get yelled at.
it asks for two macOS permissions — microphone, and accessibility so the hotkey works everywhere — then downloads a speech model. Medium (1.4 GB) is recommended. one time only.
